Yun Benchu

• Yun Benchu was born in Wujin, Changzhou, Jiangsu Province. He is the founder of the Changzhou school of painting. A famous landscape painter of the late Ming Dynasty. Yun Nantian is his cousin's son. He studied from Dong Ju at first, then studied under Ni Yunlin and Huang Gongwang later.
