Huang Xu with the courtesy name as Yoshu, was born in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, and was a painter in the 5th Country, West Shu. He was mainly active in the Later Shu period. He is good at painting flowers, bamboo, hair, Buddhism, people, and landscapes. He inherited traditional techniques, developed them, and painted with excellent brushstrokes and colors.
