Zhang Xuezeng

• Zhang Xuezeng with the courtesy name as Erwei and the artname as Qiang was born in Shanyin County, Shanxi Province. In the 6th year of Chongzhen (1633), he became a subordinate tribute and became governor of Suzhou. He learned calligraphy from Su Shi and adopted the painting style of Dong Yuan. He excels at landscape painting.
