Zhang Peng

• Zhang Peng was originally from Gaomi, Shandong Province with the courtesy name as Xī bǎi. He was a member of China Artists Association, professor of Shandong Textile Engineering College, vice president of Qingdao Painting Academy, honorary president of Qingdao Painting Academy. Along with Huang Qiuyuan, Chen Zichuan, and Tao Bakugo, he is known as one of the 'four great painters of the non-village school'. Critics have called him ``the last great Chinese painting master of the late 20th century''.
