Kano Tanshin

• Kano Tanshin (1653-1718), Kano school painter active in the mid-Edo period. He was the third son of Tanyu Kano and the second generation of the Kajibashi Kano family, who were the official painters of the Edo Shogunate. His younger brother is Tasetsu Kano.
