Wang Yongjiang

• Wang Yongjiang (1871-1927), born in Dalian, Liaoning Province. He has loved to read and studied hard since he was a kid. He is well versed in medicine as well. During his tenure in the Liaoyang police administration, he was recognized by Yuan Jinqiao. After the establishment of the Republic of China, he met Zhang Zuolin when he became Director of Cheng Taxation Bureau of Fengtian Province. When Zhang Zuolin ruled the northeastern part of China, the financial position in the northeastern part was in a tough situation, and Yuan Jinzhong recommended Wang Yongjiang. In 1916, he served as Senior Advisor to the Mukden Provincial Military Department, Director of the Provincial Prison, and Chief of the Mukden Police Agency, gaining the trust of Zhang Zuolin. In 1917, Zhang Zuolin appointed him Director of the Ministry of Finance of Fengtian Province and Director of the Three East Ministry Banks.
