Yeluye

• Ye Green Ye was born in Tongqu Township, Longchuan County, Guangdong Province in May, 1922. In his early years, he graduated from Guangzhou Zhongnan Academy of Fine Arts and Chunsui Painting Academy, founded by Gao Kunfu. In 1950, he joined the Guangdong Xijiang Cultural and Industrial Association as art captain, and also served as deputy director of the Zengcheng County Missionary Committee and director of the arts and crafts department of the Zengcheng Craft Factory and after 1978, he works as a lecture, an associate professor and a professor of The Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. He worked on New Year's paintings for People's Art Publishing, and also created propaganda paintings. He is also a vice president of the Central Academy of Crafts, a member of the China Artists Association, a professor at the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, and a member of the Guangzhou Museum of Cultural History.
