Shi Deqing

• Hanshan Deqing, surname is Cai, courtesy name Chengyin, artname Hanshan, dharma name Deqing, posthumous title of Chan Master Hongjue, was born in Nanzhi Quanjiao (now Anhui), also known as Quanjiao Hanshan, a Buddhist monk in the Ming Dynasty, inherited Lin Jizong, an important icon in the revival of Zen Buddhism in the Ming Dynasty, was a close friend with Zibai Zhen, and was one of the four eminent monks of Lianbaijiaoshu in the late Ming Dynasty.
