Yao Luqi

• Yao Luqi was born in Changsha, Hunan Province. At the age of five, he began learning landscape painting from his father, Yao Hongjun. After that, he studied under Qi Baishi and learned flower painting and Chinese painting of grass and insects. For over 70 years, she devoted herself to painting studies, making her one of the most prominent female Chinese painters of our time. Her works inherit the traditional painting method of ancient China and are very popular with domestic and foreign collectors.
