Li Di

• Li Di, born in Heyang, Henan Province. A painter in Song Dynasty. In the Xuanhua period of the Northern Song Dynasty, he became Cheng Zhonglang of college. During the Shaoxing period of the Southern Song Dynasty, he served as deputy envoy of the college. Served at painting academy for Xiaozong, Guangzong, Ningzong, all 3 dynasties, worked there for decades at Palace Painting Academy. Paints flower-and-bird painting, bamboo, stone and animal, excels at sketching.
