Wang Dezu

• Wang Dezu, born in Zhejiang province. A famous calligraphic painter, national first-class painter. Honorary President of Jiaxing Calligraphy and Painting Society, Honorary President of Shanghai Qingpu Painting Academy. In 1934, in response to calls from Wu Qingxia, Lu Xiaoman, and Li Qiujun, she participated in the founding of the Chinese Women's Painting Society. Enrolled to National West Lake Yunzhen (Current China Academy of Art) in the same year. One of the female disciples of Wang Yachen, Zhang Daqian, Pan Tianshou and Lin Fengmian.
