• Zhao Songtao, courtesy name is Jingen, art name is Benjian, born in Tianjin. A landscape painter. He learned from "Mustard Garden Painting" when he was young. And then, studied Chinese painting from Wang Shiquan of the Shanghai School of Painting. Incorporating the techniques of the masters of the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. Especially liked Shitao and Shixi’ painting. He excels at sketching ink landscape paintings, and is completely innovative in composition, brush usage, and method of expression.
