Zhao Wanbi

• Zhao Wanbi, when he was 16-year-old, enrolled to Nanchong old school art class which is Zhang Lan established. Enterd to Shanghai New Huayun University in 1927 and studied under Pan Tianshou and Zhu Wenyun. Worked at Professor of Arts and Sciences, National Chengdu Normal University, Professor of Sichuan Private Beauty School. Excellent in painting, gold stones, poetry, and calligraphy. About painting, good at portrait, landscape and flower-and-bird painting. The blue-green landscape and autumn forest with dead trees are good, and it is on par with Zhang Daqian.
