• Wang Yuan (Qing Dynasty), courtesy name is Xiangpu, art name is Ji'an, born in Shanyin Xinhe Lane, Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province. A Posted in Shuntian and Shuren in 1821. Became governor of Gaoyuzhou, Tongzhou, and Caozhou. Good at Regular script, cursive script, official script, seal script, all of calligraphic style. Especially excels at running script. His works are written with reference to an inscription from the Jin and Tang dynasties. Author of "Ji'an Book".
