    Wang Tingjue, also known by the names Canglang Waishi, Kezhuo Xuan Zhu, and later as Zhangweng, was from Suzhou, Jiangsu. He was skilled in painting and studied under Wu Changshuo and Wang Yiting. Wang excelled in flower painting, characterized by bold and large brushstrokes, emphasizing grandeur and energy, and he captured the essence of his teachers' styles.
