Wang Yong

• Wang Yong, the other sign is Tou Zhai and Dinglou zhuren, born in Beijing. Enrolled to Department of Chinese Painting, Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1979 and majored landscape painting, calligraphy and seal carving. Received grand prize at graduation exhibition in 1981 and stayed there as a teacher. Currently work as a Professor at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Director of Calligraphy Arts Research Office, Deputy Director of the Seal Carving Art Committee of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, Deputy Director of the National Youth and Middle-aged Calligraphy and Seal Carving Evaluation Committee, employee of Canglang Book company.
