Fan Kuan

• Fan Kuan (950-1032), courtesy name is Zhongli, a famous painter in Northern Song Dynasty, born in Jingzhao Huayuan. He named himself as Fan Kuan because people called him as “width” to express his kind and calm personality. Good at painting landscape painting, called as "The Three Great Masters of the Northern Song Dynasty" with Guan Tong and Li Chengtong. Later, also called as "Three Songs" with Yu Dongyuan and Li Cheng.
