Rong Esheng

• Rong Esheng, also known by the pen name Si'an, was the cousin of Rong Desheng. His paternal ancestor, Shui Lian Gong, migrated to Wuxi during the early Ming dynasty and settled in Kaiyuan Township, one of the sixteen old townships of Wuxi, at Rongxiang Town. His grandfather, the respected scholar Ya Shan, Rong Hanzhang, authored *Zi Yi Yin Shi Cun Yi Juan* (A Collection of Self-Enchanted Poems).
