Tao Zhu

• Tao Zhu (1878–1961), courtesy name Xinru, was from Wujin, Jiangsu. He was skilled in landscape and flower painting, with a unique style characterized by elegance and refinement. He was also a modern bibliophile and a scholar of the study of Hongxue (the study of the novel *Dream of the Red Chamber*).
