Qu Lizhuang, a Chinese female artist, was born in Zhongshan, Guangdong Province. She began studying painting at a young age and is skilled in fine brushwork of flowers, figures, and feathers, combining meticulous techniques with expressive brushstrokes. Later, she married Cai Heting, and together they worked on Chinese paintings for over 40 years. Her works are collected by art institutions and museums both in China and abroad. In her early years, Qu and Cai held exhibitions in Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Hong Kong, and Macau, selling their paintings. In the early 1950s, she worked at the Shaanxi Provincial Institute of Opera Research. Currently, she is a member of the China Artists Association, a member of the Shaanxi branch of the China Artists Association, a painter at the Shaanxi Provincial Chinese Painting Academy, an advisor for the Xi'an Jiaotong University Calligraphy and Painting Association, a member of the Xi'an Political Consultative Conference Calligraphy and Painting Association, and an advisor for the Beijing "Shenjian Literary and Artistic Association."
