Huang Zhou
Huang Zhou, courtesy name was Ying Zhai, a representative of Chang’an Painting School, a representative painter. In the 1950s and 1960s, he entered the regions of minority ethnic groups such as Xinjiang, Qinghai, and Tibet, and while touching various ethnic groups, he drew many sketches and created many excellent works on frontier themes. His sketches had a great influence at the beginning of this century. The claim of “art for life” and “popularization of art” also directly influenced his view of art.

Choi Xiaodong was born in 1953 in Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province, and was originally from Yangzhou, Jiangsu. He is a professor at the Chinese Painting Academy of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, director of the Landscape Department, a member of the Chinese Artists Association, and director of the Yanhuang Art Museum.
