Gai Qi
Gai Qi, courtesy name Bo Yun, and style name Xiang Bo, was a painter from the mid-Qing Dynasty. He was especially skilled in figure painting, which was considered the most refined after the Jiaqing and Daoguang periods. His works were influenced by prominent artists such as Li Gonglin, Zhao Mengfu, Tang Yin, and Chen Hongshou. In addition to figure painting, he was also proficient in painting flowers, plants, and bamboo.
