      Ryoan Seiyoku, a Zen monk in the Yuan Dynasty of China, a disciple of the famous monk Kiyoshige Kobayashi. He serves as the abbot of Boryeongsa, Gaewonsa, Hongaksa, and Yeongamsa. Emperor Genshun gave him a robe embroidered with gold filigree and the title Jiun Fusai Zenji. From the end of the Kamakura period to the period of the Northern and Southern Courts, many Japanese monks became his disciples.
