Shang Rui

  • Shang Rui was a monk during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty. His courtesy names were Jingrui and Xunwei, and he was also referred to as Xunxun or Xunrui in some records. His aliases included Mucun, Pushi Zi, Tongxin Hechang, Tongxin Daoist, Tongxin Xianren, and Wuyun Ren. He was from Wuxian, Jiangsu (modern-day Suzhou). Known for his vast knowledge and talents, he excelled in poetry and literature.
