    • Zhu Qizhan

      Zhu Qizhan, art name was Qi Zai and Erzhan Laomin, born on May 27, 1892 in Taicang Jiangsu. He became a teacher at Shanghai Library Art Institute (later Shanghai Art College) in 1913. In 1917, he went to Japan and entered Kawabata Art School, and he studied drawing from Fujishima Takeji. In 1930, he published “Zhu Qizhan Painting Collection” from Yiyuan Zhenshang Society. In the same year, he served as a professor of Shanghai Xinhua Art College. In 1961, he painted Huangshan Mountain. In the following year, he held solo exhibitions in Shanghai and Nanjing. In 1981, he also held a solo exhibition in Shanghai.
