• Wang Chen, courtesy name is Zining, art name was Pengxin, was born in Taicang, Jiangsu, 6th grandchild of Wan Shimin, a great grandchild of Wang Yuanqi. His calligraphy is similer to Yan Zhenqing’s works. For landscape paintings he descended family traditional technique and used Huang Gongwang’s technique. His famous works are "Painting Forests and Cutting Timbers" "Pengxin Poetries". He is called as “little four kings” with Wang Ku, Wang Xin, Wang Yi.
