• Fang Zengxian was born in Xitang, Zhejiang (current Lanxi) in 1931. A modern famous painter. One of the Modernist Chinese figure painters in the second half of the 20th century. Graduated Hangzhou National Art School of Zhejiang Province. Fifth National People's Congress, a director of Shanghai Museum, Honorary Professor of China Academy of Art, Chairman of Shanghai Artists Association, President of the Chinese Painting Academy of China National Academy of Painting.
