He was a professor of Guangzhou City Arts College in 1948. After 1958, He worked as a professor and director of The Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, a principal of Cantonese Art School, a director of Canton academy of art, a vice-president of China artists association, a managing director, Vice-Chairman of the Guangdong Federation of Literary and Art Circles, a vice-president of Guangdong Artists Association.
