Chen Manshou

Chen Manshou, from Jiaxing in Zhejiang Province, was named Honggao, styled Manshou, and known by the art names Weimeihuaguan, Naihengweng, and Ruo Lanzi. He authored works such as Weimeihuaguan Shichao and Selections of Japanese Contemporary Poetry. Skilled in painting plum blossoms, he was a renowned master of the Shanghai School of painting.
