Chen Weixin

• Chen Weixin was born in Yangxin, Shandong. He enrolled to Peking Palace Museum Chinese Painting Research Institute in 1939, at the same year, he entered to National Peiping Art School, graduated in 1942. He held exhibitions at Qingdao and Weihai. After 1959, he strived for art education. He worked at Jinan City Federation of Literary and Art Circles from 1961 to 1977. Became a painter at Beijing paginating institute and a first-class artist. He was a member of Chinese artists association. He was good at landscape paintings. He had made over1000 sketches and finished “On the long march” during the Cultural Revolution. There are "Taidai Rising Sun", "Heavy as Mount Tai", "Thousands of Waters and Thousands of Mountains". Shangdong museum owns 6 works of his and others are owned by Shenzhen Museum and Beijing artists association.
