Dai Xi

• Dai Xi(1801~1860), courtesy names are Chun Shi, No. Lubed, Yu'an, Luxi, Jingdong layman and Lubed layman, was born in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. He was good at writing poetries and drawing. He is a one of the “Si wang houjin” and as famous as a Qing Dynasty’s painter Tang Yifen.

    Zhang Tingji, courtesy name is Shunan, art name is Shuwei, an epigrapher and calligrapher in Qing Dynasty. Passed the examination of the Imperial Examination with the first grade in 1798. Good at poetry and versed in epigraphy and cultural appreciation. He likes to collect ancient artifacts, and his collection includes musical instruments, tableware, stone monuments, books, and paintings.
