    • Wang Kun

      Wang Kun, with the courtesy name as Zhongshan, was born in Wuyuan County, Jiangxi Province, and lives in Shanghai. He is an important figure in modern maritime painters. He excels in landscape painting, floral painting, and portrait painting. He learned landscape painting from Wang Hui, and Shao Luoyang praised his works as "Deep ink, light colors, elegant and old-fashioned''.

    • Wang Yunsheng

      Wang Yunsheng, a maritime painter. Other name is Ye, with the courtesy name Yunsheng and Yuean. He was born in Ningbo, Zhejiang. He learned painting from his uncle when he was young. In the 1920s, he moved from Ningbo to Shanghai to study under Cheng Yaosheng. His paintings have inherited his master, and are excellent in everything from flowers and birds, running animals, fish, and insects. He was docile in nature, and he liked to keep birds in cages. From his daily observations, he was able to draw faithfully.
