Yang Wenhui

• Yang Wenhui was a renowned Buddhist scholar in modern China. His courtesy name was Renshan, and his studio name was Master of Shenliu Hall. He also styled himself Renshan Jushi. He was a native of Shidai, Anhui Province. He founded the Jinling Sutras Printing Office and raised funds to reprint the woodblock-printed Buddhist canon in booklet format. He made significant contributions to the exchange of Buddhist culture between China, Japan, India, and other regions.
