Xie Ruijie

• Xie Ruijie, originally named Xie Bingzhuo and also known by the name Xie Baoshu, used the sobriquet Jiujian Laoren and the pen name Huanghe Laoren. He was a native of Jiaowan Village, Gongyi, Henan Province. He served as Vice Chairman of the Henan Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Chairman of the Henan Artists Association, the first Chairman of the Henan Branch of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, and a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference.
