Tao Shu

• Tao Shu had the courtesy name Zilin, an alternate courtesy name Ziyun, and the sobriquet Yunting. In his later years, he was also known as Ranqiao and additionally as Taohua Yuzhe. He was a native of Anhua, Hunan, and served as a senior official and scholar during the Jiaqing and Daoguang reigns of the Qing dynasty. He was a leading representative figure of the Statecraft School.
