• Emperor Muzong of the Qing, personal name Zaichun, of the Aisin Gioro clan, was an emperor of the Qing dynasty of China. He reigned from 1861 to 1875, with the reign title “Tongzhi.” His temple name was Muzong, and his posthumous title, in abbreviated form, was the Yi Emperor. He is commonly referred to as Emperor Muzong Yi, Emperor Muzong of the Qing, or the Tongzhi Emperor.
