Zhou Yanru

• Zhou Yanru, courtesy name Yusheng and sobriquet Yizhai, was a native of Yixing County, Changzhou Prefecture, Southern Zhili (present-day Yixing, Jiangsu). He was a high-ranking official of the late Ming dynasty and served as one of the Grand Secretaries (Chief Ministers) during the Chongzhen reign.
