Pan Ziduan

• Pan Yuqie was a native of Jing County, Anhui. His original name was Pan Xuzu, with the courtesy name Ziduan. He also used several pen names, including Pan Yuqie and Master of the Shui Rao Hua Di Studio. The name “Yuqie” became his principal pen name when he began publishing long novels in the 1930s. He later worked as an editor at the Commercial Press (Zhonghua Book Company) and participated in the editorial work of the magazine New China.
