Yang Yongju

Yang Yongju (courtesy name Moxing) was born in Pubei, Guangxi, China, and is a member of the China Artists Association. From an early age, he received artistic guidance from Huang Dufeng, a disciple of Gao Jianfu, founder of the Lingnan School of Painting. His studio is known as Ximo Studio (Cherishing Ink Studio). He graduated from the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at Guangxi Normal University, and later completed advanced studies at the Art Department of Beijing Normal College and the Chinese Painting Academy of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, studying under renowned masters such as Wang Xueta. During his years of study and travel, he associated with many leading figures in modern Chinese painting, including Zhu Qizhan, Wu Zuoren, Tang Yun, Cheng Shifa, Lu Yanshao, He Haixia, Zhang Ding, Song Wenzhi, Bai Xueshi, Ying Yeping, and Wu Qingxia.
