Qiu Taofeng

• Qiu Taofeng, who previously used the names Qiu Taofeng and Qiu Taozhou, was a native of Jieyang, Guangdong Province. He was a senior painter at the Shanghai Chinese Painting Academy and a member of the China Artists Association. A student of He Tianjian, he was selected in 1960 to undertake advanced studies at the Shanghai Chinese Painting Academy and was subsequently retained as a full-time painter, focusing primarily on landscape painting.
