• WAKITA KAZU, a Japanese Western-style painter, studied the basics of painting in Germany. Upon returning to Japan at the age of 22, he quickly garnered attention as an emerging artist. After World War II, he became one of Japan's leading painters, exhibiting his works in both domestic and international exhibitions. He is known for his vibrant depictions of familiar subjects such as children, birds, and flowers.
