LOU ZHENGGANG

• LOU ZHENGGANG is a calligrapher and painter from Heilongjiang Province, China. She began studying calligraphy at an early age and quickly gained recognition for her talent. In 1986, she moved to Japan and has since based her international artistic activities there. In addition to calligraphy, she works with ink, acrylic, and oil, establishing her own distinctive style of abstract expression. From 1993 to 2000, she was active in New York and held solo exhibitions around the world. In 2023, she exhibited at the Artizon Museum, and a solo exhibition is planned in London in 2025. Her representative works include Nature, Life and Love, and Sun and Moon Together.
