BERNARD STERN

• BERNARD STERN, born in Brussels, was a British painter. He studied at the Royal Academies of Fine Arts in Brussels and Antwerp, as well as St. Martin’s School of Art in London, and later based his practice in New York and the south of France. From the 1970s onward, he held solo exhibitions in cities such as London, New York, and Paris, presenting works that intertwine dream and reality through modern color and composition. His works are held in numerous international museums and are highly acclaimed for their expressive fusion of tradition and the avant-garde.
