• PETER KARP is a Danish furniture designer known for creating chairs that combine craftsmanship with refined, sculptural forms. He is particularly recognized for works such as the “PK1” and “PK9,” which showcase structural beauty achieved through the use of steel, leather, and other materials. Active during the same period as Arne Jacobsen, he collaborated with renowned manufacturers including Fritz Hansen. His simple yet sculptural designs continue to be highly regarded today.
