VATH

• VATH is a contemporary artist born in Tokyo. Influenced by his grandfather, he began studying painting and sculpture at an early age. Inspired by Kaii Higashiyama’s exhibition on his travels in Northern Europe, VATH embarked on a journey through the four Nordic countries. Fascinated by the relationship between nature and humanity, and the rhythm and transformation brought by the tides, he continues to create artworks based in both Japan and Stockholm.
