Yu Ji

• Yu Ji, styled Boxheng and also known by the sobriquet Daoyuan. He was widely referred to as Master Shaoan, The Woodcutter of Qingcheng, and The Old Man of Zhiting. A native of Chongren, he was the fifth-generation descendant of Yu Yunwen, the Vice Chancellor of the Southern Song Dynasty. Yu Ji was an official, scholar, and poet of the Yuan Dynasty.
