Introduce: Motonaga moved to Takarazuka in 1955, and for 56 years until 2011, moving between bases such as Nishinomiya, Takarazuka, and New York, he continued to create works, exhibiting at solo exhibitions in Tokyo and overseas exhibitions, creating picture books, and performing on stage.
In this exhibition commemorating the 100th anniversary of Sadamasa Motonaga's birth, we look back on Motonaga's life through an abundance of traces, including paintings, sketches, photographs, models, and exhibition records. Who is Motonaga Sadamasa? From the remaining materials, we approach the character.
