Grandma Moses Exhibition — A Wonderful 100 Years of Life

Introduce: Grandma Moses, Anna Mary Robertson Moses (1860–1961), known as the grandmother who paints and is said to be the national painter of the United States. She was a farm housewife and she took her paintbrush after she was 70 years old. Her work, which depicts her landscape and life surrounding her farm with simple brushstrokes, makes her a popular writer, but protects her life as a housewife for her farmer. Continued to draw until the year she died in 101. She introduces her way of life, symbolized by the phrase, "It's never too late to get started."
