Celebriting the 1150th Anniversary of th Founding of Daigoji Temple

Introduce: This exhibition is organized into three main sections: "Mountain Temple Daigo-ji," "Center of Esoteric Buddhist Practices," and "Bearer of Momoyama Culture." Additionally, it features corner exhibits introducing the unique aspects of Daigo-ji, such as "Inheritance of Secret Rituals," "Esoteric Buddhist Ritual Implements: Mysterious Forms," "Temple of Shugendo," "Teachings of Shobo Passed Down: The Spirit of Combined Study of Exoteric and Esoteric Buddhism," and "Modern and Contemporary Art of Daigo-ji." For the first time in Osaka, approximately 90 treasures from Daigo-ji, including 14 National Treasures and 47 Important Cultural Properties, will be presented on a large scale.
