Introduce: In 2024, we commemorate the 180th anniversary of Wu Changshuo's birth. This exhibition focuses on Wu Changshuo's artistic endeavors. In the first part, 'Eve of Wu Changshuo,' you will have the opportunity to explore the works of predecessors who revered metal and stone and the artworks of artists from Shanghai who preceded Wu Changshuo. The second part, 'Wu Changshuo's Calligraphy, Painting, and Seals,' provides an overview of Wu Changshuo's calligraphy, paintings, and seal imprints, tracing the evolution of his artistic style. In the third part, 'Wu Changshuo's Connections,' attention is drawn to the works of his mentors, friends, and disciples. Through this exhibition, we hope you can appreciate the world of Wu Changshuo, constructed within the 'confluence of metal and stone.
